Benefit of Fish Oil

Navigating the jungle of Omega 3:

Essential

Omega 3 oils are 'essential' fatty acids for the simple reason that you can't live without them. Your own body can't produce it, so you must to get it from your food. But no normal diet contains large enough amounts of Omega 3. So, to drastically improve your health, function better and have more energy: Add Omega 3 as a supplement!

There are literally thousands of different Omega 3 brands out there.
How do they differ, and which one should you choose?

There may be a thousand different brands of Omega 3 oils, but most of them have one thing in common: they are all made from fish. That would be all fine and peachy, if it wasn't for the fact that fish contains all kinds of toxins, including mercury and methylmercury, one of the most dangerous food contaminators.

You would prefer a health-product that will NOT poison you, wouldn't you?

Also, depleting fish-populations will soon make it impossible to produce any more fish-based Omega 3. Unsustainable systems fail by definition. The Omega-3-industry at large is utterly irresponsible and extremely destructive on the environment.

Flaxseed Omega 3?

The option? There are a handful of flaxseed-based Omega 3 products. But, once again, they all share a huge problem.

Fish Oil consists of the two fatty acids EPA and DHA, which are the two types of Omega 3 that will benefit you the most. Flaxseed-based Omega 3 consists of the fatty acid ALA, which was believed to convert into EPA and DHA.

However, scientists have recently discovered that it doesn't convert well at all! So the only option then is fish-based Omega 3. You know, the kind that will fill you with toxins and is destroying the environment.

Or is it? In fact, there is now a safe, sustainable alternative.

The solution

V-Pure is the world's first Omega 3 oil made from algae. This is the source from which fish-based Omega 3 gets the actual Omega 3. Fishes eat algae, and store some of the Omega 3. Later, this is extracted after the fish has been killed.

But why would you want it to pass all the way through a toxic fish when you can get it clean and uncontaminated, straight from fresh, organically grown algae?

Not only is this the purest source of Omega 3 you can put your hands on. By trying it, you also help the environment by voting down companies that are destroying the remaining fish-stocks of the world.

Personally, I don't think there is an option here. What about you?

Wouldn't you prefer an Omega 3 that combines the health benefit of fish oil Omega 3 with the purity of flaxseed Omega 3, over one that destroys the environment and fills you with toxins?
